However, the mass bombing of 1944 injured the factories of the Toyota company, after which restoration work was carried out right up to the end of 1946, but the head of the company did not despair and already in the post-war period was developing an heir for the first passenger model, which was presented already in 1947. her name is Toyota SA. The model was based on the people’s car of Germany, the Volkswagen 1200, but its Japanese version was more improved.

The year 1950 was marked for the industrial empire Toyota and its subsidiary Toyota with the consequences of the economic crisis and strikes among the workers.
